The tour begins in the Sierra Crestellina nature
park with a walk through the forest taking in the
breathtaking views of Casares and the coast. This
is followed by a romantic stroll through the white
village of Casares and visits to the ethno-history
museum, the castle, the cemetery as well as a
break in a typical local bar. We then ride through
an idyllic valley with water and oil mill ruins and
rare black dragonflies. After lunch and/or
coffee, the tour continues through beautiful
countryside to a river, orange groves and the ruins
of a fortified city from Phoenician times. Another
highlight of the tour is a bath in a sulphur grotto,
built by Julius Caesar.
